Overview
The product launch of “FlashAir™,” a SDHC memory card with embedded wireless LAN, was fashioned as an experiential campaign created around the fictitious airline, “Flash Airways.” Several cafés in the fashionable Omotesando area were decorated to become part of the “Flash Airways” world. Consumers could download beautiful photographs contributed by “TRANSIT,” a travel culture magazine, to their smartphones using FlashAir’s wireless LAN capabilities for free at these venues. A café tour was produced that allowed consumers to virtually travel the world by using the target product.
