Overview
A Christmas tree was produced for KITTE commercial facility’s first Christmas. The concept was “a Christmas tree befitting KITTE” that would set it apart from other commercial facilities’ Christmas decorations. Tanijiri Makoto, an architect, was appointed for planning and design. A live Christmas tree, which was the largest live fir tree in an indoor space, was used to create a fantasy world. An installation with snow falling over the entire atrium was crafted. It featured a snow-covered Christmas tree, sequin decorations hanging from the ceiling, and lighting production using mirror balls.
