Overview

"Homage to Kyoto Artistry" is a limited product created in collaboration between Montblanc, a German luxury writing instrument brand and Chiso, a Japanese traditional firm for Kyo Yuzen-dyeing established in 1555.
An event commemorating the birth of this collaborative product was held in Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto. On the stage of the important cultural property, Okuno-in, a one-night-only live show of "Nopera AOI", a play by artist Ryoko Aoki blending no play (Japanese traditional masked dance-drama), contemporary music, and fashion elements was performed together with fantastical movie projection on the cubic screen.
