Overview

The city of Kaga in Ishikawa prefecture hopes to make their city’s “Kaga Hot Spring” train station a stop on the planned Hokuriku bullet train line extension in 2023. To campaign for this, they launched the “Tokyo 2023 Kaga” project and released a four-part project movie titled the “Kaga City Bullet Train Campaign Headquarters Season 1.”

This project movie was set in the city’s “bullet train campaign headquarters” and featured 50 cast members including Kaga city government employees, citizens, and Kaga city’s PR unit—the LADY KAGAs.
The drama movie used a documentary style to show the passion of the people of Kaga to “bring the Hokuriku bullet train to Kaga Hot Spring station” and their envy and jealousy toward Kanazawa city’s development as a tourist city due to their advance access to the bullet train.
