Overview

Commercials were created to: increase knowledge and awareness of Chichibu (a major tourist area in Saitama prefecture along the Seibu train line), promote usage of the Red Arrow Limited Express, and vitalize the regional area. The theme was set as “Chichibu Walking Trip” and Ms. Yuriko Yoshitaka was portrayed enjoying walks along attractions in the Chichibu area including Seibu Chichibu station’s Nakamise street (an avenue of stalls and small shops), the Hodosan Shrine, and the Nagatoro tatami rocks. The commercials also communicated the appeal of the Red Arrow Limited Express, which conveniently connects Ikebukuro station, in the heart of Tokyo, to Seibu Chichibu station.
