During his time at ADK, Osamu Enari planned and produced the “nakata.net café,” which garnered worldwide attention during the Japan/Korea World Cup, instigated the Beckham sensation in Japan with the “Meiji Seika ‘Beckham in Japan’ Campaign,” and painted the face of downtown Tokyo with art-covered cows during “Cow Parade Tokyo.” In 2004, he co-founded Drill and was appointed CEO in 2007.
Focusing on “Experiential-Design,” he has engaged in numerous integrated campaigns centered on designing experiences for consumers.
He has worked on many opening and anniversary campaigns for commercial facilities such as IKEA’s Japan launch campaign, the New Marunouchi Building, Yurakucho Marui, KITTE, and Grand Front Osaka. As a producer for the downtown Tokyo Marunouchi area branding project, he is also involved in various arts, cultural, and sporting events.He is the general producer of various artistic, cultural and sporting events for many area branding projects.
More recently, he has seen his work extend beyond Japan and into Asia and Europe. He has developed exclusive events for high-end brands such as for BMW’s 100th Anniversary and for Montblanc; directed a project to bring the Milan Salone (a world-class design festival) to Japan; managed PR for Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands in Japan; and developed branding for 1000 Trees, a large commercial facility in Shanghai.
Osamu won the Gold Lion in the Media category of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2007 for the IKEA. He has continued to receive many awards, including the 360 Lotus from ADFEST, Yellow Pencil from D&AD, and Gold from Spikes Asia. In 2013, he served as a jury member for the Promotion and Direct & Activation category for Spikes Asia.
